Application

Traf-Sys People Counting Proximity Sensors are used for measuring the number of people approaching an object or area. Typically, these devices are installed on jewelry counters, kiosks, and other displays and are used to measure the effectiveness of those displays. Each time a person approaches the device, the proximity sensor will generate a count on the LCD display. These counts can also be transmitted wirelessly to a MIU-1000 or MIU1500 data controller for data logging and trending analysis.

Traf-Sys People Counting Proximity Sensors can be installed anywhere you want to measure the amount of people approaching an object. Simply mount the Proximity Sensor to the surface of the object you are monitoring. The sensor can be adjusted to count people within 4 or 7 feet of the sensor.
